CUSTOMER SERVICE


We take great pride in the level of service we provide, and our goal is your complete satisfaction. The right lighting can enhance your home in amazing ways. To that end we'll be glad to help you make the right selection. Call us with ceiling heights, room and furniture dimensions and we can advise you on the scale, finish and product options most appropriate for your space. If you have a construction project or time frame, please keep in mind that lead times can vary significantly. If in stock, you should generally receive your order within 2-3 weeks. Otherwise, lead times can vary from 4-8 weeks. You will be notified of any delivery delays where applicable.

Orders requiring customization of any kind can be quoted after we receive your specifications. Custom orders will entail additional lead times; custom and/or bulk orders of 6 or more are non-cancellable and non-returnable. Normal return procedures will apply to cancellations on orders already shipped. A 50% restocking fee plus round trip freight charges will be deducted from any order which is refused for any reason.

Please inspect your purchase immediately upon arrival. Any shipment showing visible damage to the exterior carton should be inspected if possible and refused if the product is damaged in any way. If inspection is not possible, any visible damage must be notated on the freight bill. In any event, any item which appears to have been damaged in transit requires notification to our Customer Service personnel within 24 hours. The item must be retained with ALL PACKING MATERIAL INTACT for inspection by the carrier. We will arrange for replacement as quickly as possible and advise details as available.

Returns of Defective Products


If within (15) days of receiving your order any item proves to be defective, contact us immediately. You must obtain a Returned Goods Authorization (RGA) and specific return instructions. After receipt and inspection approval, a replacement fixture will be sent at no charge. If the fixture is discontinued or no longer available, a refund for the purchase price less shipping and handling charges will be issued.

Returns for Damaged Products


Please inspect items upon receipt. It is your responsibility to notify us immediately of any damage before having it installed. Please do not ship any product before receiving return instructions. Return instructions will be provided only within 15 days of your receipt of the product. We regret there can be no exceptions.

Merchandise damage during return transit is non-refundable from the vendor, but a claim can be filed with the carrier. Solebury Lighting and Home recommends you insure your return shipment. We cannot issue your refund if the order is returned damaged from the carrier and not insured.

SHIPPING


A 5% freight charge will apply to all orders under $500. Orders over $500 are FREE unless they are larger. Oversized items requiring motor freight delivery will incur additional charges based on weight, size and destination. Depending on manufacturer and availability, orders consisting of multiple items may ship separately.

DELIVERY


If in stock, orders can be expected to ship within 15 business days, depending on availability. Occasionally an item will be out of stock or made to order. Backorders from manufacturers are beyond our control, but we will track and advise delivery information as soon as it is available. Shipping charges incurred due to incorrect address, zip code, or refusal of an item must be charged back to the customer. We cannot ship to PO box locations. Seller is not accountable for delays in delivery. Delivery dates given are the best estimates of our suppliers.

Privacy Policy


Solebury Lighting and Home is committed to protecting your privacy. No information provided to us will ever be given or sold to any outside party. All such information is kept private and confidential.

Acceptance of Order


Acceptance of any order is subject to credit approval and acceptance of the order by the seller and suppliers. If buyer fails to comply with these terms and conditions of sale or if buyer's credit becomes unsatisfactory to seller, seller reserves the right to terminate upon notice to buyer and without liability to seller.

Pricing or Product Description Discrepancies


Solebury Lighting and Home makes every effort to assure the accuracy of pricing and product information on our website. From time to time information may require updating or be inaccurate. Please be advised that all prices and information shown here are subject to verification by our showroom personnel. In the event of a discrepancy, we reserve the right to make and advise any corrections necessary.

ORDERING PROCESS


The credit card you submit will be charged when your order is placed. You will be advised of an approximate ship date and notified of any unexpected delay or revision as information becomes available. In stock merchandise should ship within 15 working days. Any order requiring customization (ie; deviating in any way from the description) must be discussed with a Customer Service representative who will advise and quote possibilities and estimated lead times. Custom orders are made to your specifications, and therefore may not be cancelled or returned.

RETURN PROCEDURE


We will accommodate any return which meets the following criteria:
  • Customer must be issued a Return Authorization number by SLH.
  • This RA# must be boldly noted on the outside of the carton. Any unauthorized return will be refused.
  • Item must have been delivered within the last 15 days.
  • The item must be non-installed and returned in the factory carton with all original packaging intact. All shades must be in original wrapping.
  • The item must be packed exactly as it was shipped to avoid damage on its return journey which could invalidate your refund. Please be sure to insure the item for the full purchase price.
  • Custom or installed items may not be returned.

RESTOCKING FEES

  • All returns are subject to the manufacturer's applicable restocking fee, which is generally 25-50%. You are responsible for shipping and insuring the return for the retail amount you paid.
  • Once the return has been received and inspected, your card will be credited for the net amount after deducting the applicable restocking fee.
